Well, as you can plainly see, quite a bit has happened to the Team Spectre site in the last few days. We’ve upgraded our frontpage to use Wordpress, so please forgive the occasional broken link here and there. The big upside is the ability to update the site frontpage without having to reupload the webpage every time I do, a BIG relief for yours truly.

At any rate, here’s what’s been happening. In our first season of Pro-Am, Team Spectre ended up a more than respectable 4-4 with two Forfeit Wins on record. Meanwhile, we have our second CAL-O dispute filed, against Incline Gaming, whom we played on Mill. As you can see from the top, we lost 20-4. In our other match, a Season match that was rescheduled, we beat unLeashed 14-10. And in our first CEVO-Amateur match of the season…well, we lost 4v5 by an ugly 13-2 score. So here’s what’s on tap: Our final CAL-O match of the season is against Reign, and that will be on Train. And in CEVO-A, we will be playing an “old friend” in To Be Honest on Nuke.

Another week, another paragraph of news. First, in Pro-Am news, both our matches against Canus Lupis and elemental Gaming resulted in FFWs, meaning that we now have killed three teams in two different leagues (to go with To Be Honest in CAL). Aww yeah. In CAL News, as you can see, we lost our match versus Extempore 13-11. After a more than impressive 10-2 first half on our CT side, we were turned on our heads as they stepped up for a better 11-1 second half, and the overall victory. Our next match in CAL, versus Subversion, has resulted in a FFW when it was revealed that the team had died. So, the USA Lineup has a Pro-Am doubleheader. First, at 9:30 EST, Team Spectre takes on Glitchmode Gaming. The match will be on Dust2. Then, at 10:30 EST, Team Spectre takes on Helix on Inferno. Match SourceTV to be announced.

The last week for Team Spectre has been nothing if not interesting. Our Pro-Am match versus Perfect Image resulted in a 10-7 loss, though the confirmation of match time came at very short notice. Bouncing back from that loss, we played the team To Be Honest on de_contra. After a dominating 21-3 victory, we filed a dispute against the team for Unsportsmanlike Conduct and leaving the match in the middle of the second half. Thanks to the CAL Admin, our 21-3 victory became a 23-1 victory (11-1; 12-0)! Our only Pro-Am match of the week, versus Dead Beat Dads, resulted in our third FFW of the Pro-Am Season. So this week’s matches are set. First, in CAL-Open, we face the team Extempore (3-1), coming off their own 23-1 victory on Contra. Then, for Pro-Am, we remake our Inferno match versus Canus Lupis (1-3), while preparing to face elemental gaming (2-3) on Dust2.

Team Spectre’s Pro-Am match versus Chase N Demons has resulted in a 10-7 loss (4-5; 3-5). We have two matches upcoming in Pro-Am. First, our match on Season vs. Perfect Image has been extended to this Sunday. Second, our second go-round on Inferno has been scheduled, versus the team Dead Beat Dads. Meanwhile, our dispute in CAL has not been resolved, and we await our next opponent for the map Contra.

Our CAL Match with Team JENKEM on Nuke has resulted in our first loss in CAL-O this season. The final score was 3-21 (1-11; 2-10). Team Spectre is officially disputing the match. In Pro-Am news, our match with Perfect Image is still unscheduled, but our Tuscan makeup match versus Chase N Demons is still on for Thursday.
